Neurodegenerative diseases are a major challenge for our society, either for the patients and their relatives, or for our healthcare and society.
Recognized for the quality of it clinical and research teams, the LiCEND (for Lille Centre of Excellence for Neurodegenerative Disorders) has been identified as one of 7 French centers of excellence on neurodegenerative diseases. The LiCEND missions are to promote interactions between clinicans and researchers to improve research and clinical practice, to open the field to other disciplines such as human and social sciences, computer sciences, physics…, to reinforce trainings on neurodegenerative diseases and to diffuse knowledge toward the general audience.
